Brandon Sanderson has announced that he has written four new novels, three of which are set in his shared universe, the Cosmere, and one is something different. He plans to release them independently.
The Cosmere novels are:
- The Lost Metal (Mistborn: Wax and Wayne #4)
- Shadows of Silence (Elantris #2)
- The Alcatraz Sequel
The non-Cosmere novel is called "Dragonsteel" and is a science fantasy novel.
Sanderson also announced that he is working on the fifth book in his Stormlight Archive series, which is expected to be released in December 2024.
