Dortmund reach the Champions League final with a 2-0 aggregate win over Paris Saint-Germain
Borussia Dortmund have reached the Champions League final after a 2-0 aggregate win over Paris Saint-Germain. Jadon Sancho was the star of the show, scoring in both legs of the semi-final.
PSG were heavily favored going into the tie, but they were outplayed by a Dortmund side that was full of energy and creativity. Erling Haaland also played a key role for Dortmund, providing the assist for Sancho's goal in the first leg.
PSG never really looked like getting back into the tie after losing the first leg 2-1 in Paris. They were well beaten in the second leg, and Dortmund could have won by more had they been more clinical in front of goal.
Dortmund will now face Bayern Munich in the final, which will be played in Lisbon on August 23. Bayern are the defending champions, and they will be looking to win their sixth Champions League title.
Dortmund will be underdogs in the final, but they have already shown that they are capable of beating the best teams in Europe. They will be hoping to cause another upset and win their first Champions League title since 1997.
